Gerhard Oberländer (1907–1995) was a German children’s book illustrator. He studied graphic design in Berlin, including at the University of the Arts. For the Büchergilde Gutenberg (German), he illustrated more than 40 books, for example, and received several awards from the German Publishers and Booksellers Association and the Stiftung Buchkunst. In 1987, the Munich City Museum dedicated an exhibition to him.
