Karl Korab is an Austrian artist who works as a painter, graphic artist and set designer. His subjects are often landscapes or still lifes, such as this piece. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1957 to 1964.
The painting depicts a kind of surrealist still life, composed of geometric and organic forms, such as a face.
