I’ve found a colour woodcut by an unknown artist…
The picture shows a highly stylised portrait of a girl or a young woman. On the plate, the contours of the face have been coloured black and the hair bow magenta.
The signature can be read as “Herzig”, but so far it has not been possible to attribute it to anyone with certainty.
