Not much can be found out about Christa von Lettow-Vorbeck, except that she was presumably the sister of the notorious General Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck.
Gerbrand Caspers has published an extensive post about Lettow-Vorbeck on his blog “The Linosaurus”, in which this motif can also be found.
What is interesting about this print is the signature: the surname is given only as “v. Lettow”.
